Weekend Update
From time to time we try to give you an update on some
statistics about the blog. The figures that follow are for the last 30 day
period, ending on Friday, June 15 at midnight.
Each number represents a unique computer "hit" for the blog,
meaning that each number represents a
visitor to the blog, but is not counted again if they visit the blog more than
once in a 24 hour period.
Country Location Number
of visitors
United States 1,496
United Kingdom 248
Canada 99
Czech Republic 98
India 94
Poland 79
Philippines 73
Germany 69
Russia 64
Malaysia 54
There were 11 other countries that showed up on the
count, however the program I use does not list them in the monthly totals unless
they reach the minimum of 50 visits. The blog is averaging 247 hits per day, with the peak day during the last month on May 24, when we re-posted by request, the blog message, "Go With What You Have."
All this to say thanks to everyone who stops by to read
the blog. I hope you find something here that is a benefit to you in your daily
walk, and always a glory to God.
Allow me to again point out the +1 that is at the bottom
of each blog. Clicking on the +1 is what
keeps that particular blog message moving up on the Google search engine. It is a vote saying you like the blog, but
also is a calculation of the visitors that came to read it and gave their
approval by clicking the +1. I am
noticing several recent blogs are moving up higher in the Google search engine
when you search ronbwriting. For this I
am grateful. Your comments on the blog are always welcome.
Also, we currently have 22 that have indicated they
wished to be a follower of the blog. Those numbers are helpful, too. As they grow and more people
"follow" the blog, it is one of the calculations taken into
consideration by those are representatives of the publishing industry, in
booking speaking engagements, and in building a "platform" of
subjects, beliefs, truths, expressed in the blogs.
I will be honored and appreciative of those who click on
the +1 (current or past blog messages still count,) and for those who become
followers of the blog. It only takes a
minute to register with Google and your information is always safe.
This weekend we celebrate Father's Day and I just have to
say some things about my dad. I was one of those fortunate kids that grew up in
a home where mom and dad saw the necessity of proper upbringing (some of it
stuck), a good foundation in spiritual matters including church attendance and
Bible study, and in teaching by example as well as instruction. They were not perfect, but they knew the Lord
and loved the association of their Christian family. My salute to dad, still my
hero to this day, and also to mom, still the heroine I hold close in my
heart. God bless.
