Building with Lego's

 

Pick a block which makes you think of a friend.  Are they amazing to you? There is a block for that.  Are they needing some encouragement?  Then let them know God loves them.  There are many more words or phrases which we might use to let someone know we are thinking about them, but these are starters.  While you are thinking about specific people and the encouraging words from one of these blocks, give them a call or send them a note, letting them know how much you appreciate them.

While some might think with all these blocks, we will be building walls that separate us.  Instead, the real outcome will be the building of a whole house.  It's a building designed by God and described in Scripture.  Look at 1 Peter 2:

"Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. ² Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, ³ now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.

⁴ As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— ⁵ you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
